Collecting on the beach is allowed and the dunes are protected. At the tip of Grenen the currents of two seas meet and swimming is banned there.
About the beach
Gammel Skagen (Højen) is on the west side of the Skagen headland, facing the Skagerrak. It is the northern end of Jutland’s west coast.
