Search around ponds and stream valleys, meadow edges and along wide rides. In spring check the south sides of young stands, where animals stand during the day, but do not enter fenced plantations.

red deer, roe deer
Season: Red deer shed from February to April, roe bucks from October to December. Search in March and April.
Terrain: pine and mixed forest with stream valleys and fish ponds
Rules and closures
Nature reserves are excluded, because collecting antlers is banned there. Outside them, do not enter wildlife refuges or plantations marked with a no-entry sign, do not disturb animals and do not let a dog run loose (Arts. 26 and 30 of the Forest Act).
About the area
The Lubliniec Forests are a large forest complex in northern Silesia, between Lubliniec and Koszęcin, with red deer and roe deer. It is a good option for people from Upper Silesia who do not want to drive to the mountains.
