Collecting glass is allowed. In 2018 white phosphorus resembling amber was found at Kiel-Schilksee, north of here: never pocket yellow, waxy lumps.
About the beach
Friedrichsort is at the narrowest point of the Kiel Fjord, by the Friedrichsort lighthouse. Ports and shipyards have lined the fjord for a long time, and ships threw glass overboard.
