Look for bilberries and wood sorrel in the pine and beech forests of Kashubian Landscape Park, and for wild strawberries on felling sites. Elder and nettle grow in scrub by the lakes. Limes flower in July in villages, but avoid trees by roads.

Rules
Picking plants is banned in nature reserves, whose boundaries are signed. In state forests you may pick for your own use, except in plantations under 4 m. On private meadows and farmyards, ask the owner.
About the place
Kashubia around Kartuzy is hills with lakes, beech woods and pine forest. The climate is cooler and wetter than inland Poland. Bilberries and wild strawberries dominate in the forests, and elder, lime and meadow herbs by the villages.
