See the pre-saleWhere to watch
Visit the show enclosure in daytime, and look for free bison in winter at dawn on field and meadow edges, from public roads. Foresters at Supraśl Forest District can tell you where the herd is and where entry is banned. Moose are more often seen on wet meadows in the river valleys.
What you can see
European bison, moose, red deer, wolf
Best time: December to March, dawn
Rules
The European bison is strictly protected and may not be deliberately disturbed (regulation issued under Article 52 of the Nature Conservation Act). Do not walk up to feeding sites, keep at least 50 m away and do not leave food. In the forest, respect the no-entry signs put up by the forest district.
About the place
Knyszyn Forest holds a free herd of European bison, which foresters feed in winter. A bison show enclosure operates near Supraśl, and the Kopna Góra arboretum is nearby. The forest also has many moose and red deer.
