chanterelle (kurka), penny bun / cep (prawdziwek), orange birch bolete (koźlarz czerwony), hedgehog mushroom (kolczak obłączasty), saffron milk cap (rydz)

Forest: old Scots pine forest (Caledonian pinewood) with birch and heather moor

Rules

The Scottish Outdoor Access Code does not restrict customary picking of fungi for your own use, but commercial picking needs the landowner's consent. On SSSIs removing fungi needs NatureScot consent, and in nature reserves ask the manager first. Take no more than about 10% of the fungi in one place.

About the forest

Glenmore Forest Park, below the Cairngorms near Aviemore, is part of the Caledonian pinewood in Cairngorms National Park. Old pines and birches give chanterelles, cep and birch boletes. The forest is managed by Forestry and Land Scotland.
